Can I use my own remote to control the IR-Pods?

Detailed Question:

Do the motor pods work with a remote like  you can buy from Wal-Mart? do you send the code for the remote? 

Answer:

If your question is regarding our Infra Red (IR) controlled remotes: they are programed to respond to a SONY remote control protocol. They will only work with Sony or Sony compatible universal remotes.

We ship each IR-Pod with a small credit card sized universal remote. Instructions for reprogramming the remotes are included in quick start guide that also ships with the IR-Pod.

Please note, that the USB controlled Pods, on our site, are not controllable with the remotes that the IR-Pods are.
