How can I use my Sony DCR-DVD203 DVD Handycam with my computer as a webcam?

I just Bought a Sony DCR-DVD203 DVD Handycam is it possible to use your software so I can use my camcorder as a webcam? I tried to hook it up by usb port but I don't think it is working right any Idea thanks.

Answer:

If the camcorder has a Firewire connector (also known as IEEE1498 or iLink), then that's what you need to use to connect to it to the computer. With the camcorder connected, download and run the trial version of DVdriver and see if it works for you. It's available at www.trackercam.com/download.
