Questions Relating to Camcorders

After about 5 or so minutes my camera shuts off and I have to reload the DVdriver again. Can you help?

Detailed Question:

The software works fine with my Sony DV camcorder but for some reason after about 5 or so minutes the camera shuts off and I have to reload the DVdriver again. I don't know if there is some sort of setting to stop this. I'm stumped and was wondering if you knew how to remedy this problem.

Answer:

This is an auto-shutoff feature on your camcorder. With many camcorders, it only happens when there is a tape inside the camera (the feature is meant to save the recording head from wear)--so, you might be able to solve the problem by taking out the tape if you have one in. If not, I'm sorry but we don't currently have another solution.
