Questions about ClearPTZ video connector and operating temp

I'm interested in your ClearPTZ-500 bundle, but have a few questions: 1. Do you ship to the UK? and if so, by air or sea? 2. Can I send the analogue video from the camera down Cat5? 3. Can you send me some info on domes please? Also operating temperatures. Thanks

Answer:

Thank you for your interest. Yes we ship to the UK. If you enter your address on our order page, the page will calculate and display the shipping charge. We ship by UPS air.

The camera component has 2 outputs: coax, and s-video. For long distances, you would use the coax. This is the standard kind of cabling used for cable tv, cctv security cameras, etc. You cannot send the video down the Cat5 cable. The Cat5 cable is used only to carry pan, tilt, and zoom commands to the motorized base.

Regarding temperatures, We currently have a ClearPTZ mounted outside our office window in that dome and it's doing okay in the Canadian winter. The minimum temperature is probably about -20 degrees Celsius.

For a dome, you would need a 12" size. We do have one that we can get for customers. You can see at the top of this web page:
