What would explain my computer dialing out whenever I start TrackerCam?

Detailed Question:

EVERY TIME I STARTUP MY TRACKERCAM SOFTWARE, IT
DIALS OUT TO SOMEWHERE.
IS THERE A WAY TO DISABLE THE DIAL OUT FEATURE.
IT IS VERY INCONVENIENT TO HAVE MY PHONE OF THE HOOK
WHILE I AM LEARNING HOW TO SETUP THE DEVICE

Answer:

You might have some demos listed in your Buddy List. That causes your computer to connect to the Internet to see if your buddies are online.

To disable it, you need to click the Buddy List icon on your desktop, highlight any existing buddies, and click the delete button to get rid of them.
