How do I control the movement of my camcorder from a computer?

I have a question about the PowerPod robotic mount. If it's computer controlled, does this mean that I can move the camera and have it remember where it's moved, then move in the same way again? I'm interested in special effects and looking for a way of controlling my camcorder (Sony Digital 8) from a computer.

Answer:

Using TrackerCam software (free download from our website) you can set a large number of viewpoints and make the PowerPod follow those viewpoints in a defined order, or just make the PowerPod go to a specific viewpoint at any time. Look for the "Surveillance" section in the manual.

TrackerCam also provides a large variety of other special effects, such as tracking, zoom, motion capture, etc.
